ShareStarter.org is the site for the proposed Lending Library Alliance (LLA). The LLA promotes the establishment of new Libraries of Things and Tool Libraries across the country and around the world by spreading the idea, inspiring the creation of new tool lending libraries, and providing the information and assistance necessary to help launch sustainable tool libraries. We facilitate efficient information sharing and collaboration among existing tool libraries to improve services and operations. The LLA represents and advocates for public lending libraries on a regional, national and international level, raise the profile of the Library of Things and Tool Library movement, solicit support from foundations, manufacturers and others.
