Déjà Dup is a simple backup tool. It hides the complexity of backing up the Right Way (encrypted, off-site, and regular) and uses duplicity as the backend. Déjà Dup supports local, remote, or cloud backup locations such as Google Drive and Nextcloud and it securely encrypts and compresses your data. It also backs up incrementally, letting you restore from any particular backup and schedules regular backups. Déjà Dup integrates well into your GNOME desktop.

Yes, because of that I also give 4 out of 5 blocks. Else it’s a great trade-free tool

This is a perfect trade-free application that allows you to backup your files. The only downside is that it includes the option “google driver” in the “location” settings (although you can avoid using it) – but the fact that they allow for this option that encourages people to use the trade-based google service, is worth mentioning.
