Li se yon aplikasyon JavaScript WebRTC sous louvri epi li ka itilize pou videyokonferans. Yon moun ka pataje Desktop ak prezantasyon ak jis yon lyen ka envite nouvo manm pou videokonferans. Li ka itilize lè w telechaje aplikasyon an oswa dirèkteman nan yon navigatè epi li konpatib ak nenpòt navigatè resan. Chak itilizatè ka itilize sèvè Jitsi.org oswa ka telechaje epi enstale lojisyèl sèvè a sou yon machin ki baze sou Linux. Premye karakteristik kle Jitsi Meet se kominikasyon ankode (kominikasyon an sekirite): Apati mwa avril 2020, 1-1 apèl yo itilize mòd P2P, ki se yon bout-a-fen ankripte atravè DTLS-SRTP ant de patisipan yo. Gwoup apèl yo itilize tou DTLS-SRTP chifreman, men konte sou Jitsi Videobridge (JVB) kòm routeur videyo, kote pake yo dechifre tanporèman. Ekip Jitsi a mete aksan sou ke "yo pa janm estoke nan nenpòt ki depo ki pèsistan epi yo viv sèlman nan memwa pandan y ap dirije yo bay lòt patisipan nan reyinyon an", e ke mezi sa a nesesè akòz limit aktyèl teknoloji WebRTC ki kache. Dezyèm karakteristik kle nan Jitsi Meet se pa gen okenn bezwen enstalasyon nouvo lojisyèl kliyan.

Revizyon nan meet.jit.si
They link to their pages on trade-based networks (facebook, linkedin, twitter), to trade-based collaborative software (slack) and to trade-based app stores (Google Play and App Store from Apple) because they have an app for phones. uBlock origin also blocked “amplitude.com” which is a “Product Intelligence platform helping companies build better products”. These things are not that bad, but I want to mention them, because else it’s a great service! You don’t need an account or pay money or so. You can just use it directly in the browser. Do they collect data? Yes, but not to make a business out of that: “8×8 is not in the business of selling personal information to third parties. 8×8 uses this information to deliver the meet.jit.si service, to identify and troubleshoot problems with the meet.jit.si service, and to improve the meet.jit.si service. In addition, 8×8 may use this information to investigate fraud or abuse.” (https://jitsi.org/meet-jit-si-privacy/) So I’d give them 4/5 blocks.
