Mae Ubuntu Touch (a elwir hefyd yn Ubuntu Phone) yn fersiwn symudol o system weithredu Ubuntu, sy'n cael ei datblygu gan gymuned UBports. Wedi'i ysgrifennu yn Qt, fe'i cynlluniwyd yn bennaf ar gyfer dyfeisiau symudol sgrin gyffwrdd fel ffonau smart a chyfrifiaduron llechen, ond bwriad y nod gwreiddiol o gydgyfeirio oedd dod â Ubuntu Touch i gliniaduron, byrddau gwaith, dyfeisiau IOT, setiau teledu ac oriorau craff ar gyfer profiad defnyddiwr unedig cyflawn.

Ar yr olwg gyntaf byddaf yn rhoi 2 floc iddynt oherwydd eu bod yn curadu eu siop eu hunain https://open-store.io/ ac maent yn caniatáu cymwysiadau sy'n seiliedig ar fasnach yno.

W.A.I.T.? What am I trading? So I was looking into the default apps that come with Ubuntu Touch (https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/blob/master/CORE_APPS.md), and they seem to be trade-free, because they don’t want to collect data or put ads in the users face. The website, where you can find an how-to-install guide (https://ubuntu-touch.io/get-ut), does collect some data via “analytics.ubports.com”. But that seems to be not for profit purposes, but probably for usability. However, there are some youtube videos embedded in the website, so I want to mention that. Back to the software itself: I’d give 3/5 blocks, because there are trade-based apps, like Amazon (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=amazon), Google (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=google), Facebook (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=facebook) etc. in their app store. Is that a reason to not include Ubuntu Touch in the directory? Hm, I mean they are not advertising these, they just give users the choice to use them. But of course, that appstore is not clean in the trade-free sense.
