Ubuntu Touch
Ubuntu Touch (həmçinin Ubuntu Telefonu kimi tanınır) UBports icması tərəfindən hazırlanmış Ubuntu əməliyyat sisteminin mobil versiyasıdır. Qt dilində yazılmışdır, o, əsasən smartfonlar və planşet kompüterlər kimi toxunma ekranlı mobil cihazlar üçün nəzərdə tutulmuşdur, lakin konvergensiyanın ilkin məqsədi tam vahid istifadəçi təcrübəsi üçün Ubuntu Touch-ı noutbuklara, masaüstü kompüterlərə, IOT cihazlarına, televizorlara və smart saatlara çatdırmaq idi.
İlk baxışdan onlara 2 blok verəcəyəm, çünki onlar öz mağazalarını idarə edirlər https://open-store.io/ və orada ticarət əsaslı tətbiqlərə icazə verirlər.
W.A.I.T.? What am I trading? So I was looking into the default apps that come with Ubuntu Touch (https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/blob/master/CORE_APPS.md), and they seem to be trade-free, because they don’t want to collect data or put ads in the users face. The website, where you can find an how-to-install guide (https://ubuntu-touch.io/get-ut), does collect some data via “analytics.ubports.com”. But that seems to be not for profit purposes, but probably for usability. However, there are some youtube videos embedded in the website, so I want to mention that. Back to the software itself: I’d give 3/5 blocks, because there are trade-based apps, like Amazon (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=amazon), Google (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=google), Facebook (https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=facebook) etc. in their app store. Is that a reason to not include Ubuntu Touch in the directory? Hm, I mean they are not advertising these, they just give users the choice to use them. But of course, that appstore is not clean in the trade-free sense.
